Giving it Grace

{ welcome }
I started the Giving it Grace blog as a way to keep up with our lives and share special moments with family and friends back when my husband and I were getting married. It's since turned into a place where I also share tips, explanations, and encouragements for other moms and wives. Before having kids of my own, I spend over a decade nannying while in college, working, and in grad school. I'm an avid blog reader, book lover, and pursuit-of-knowledge nerd. I like to know a little bit about a lot of things, and a lot about a few things - much of which I share here.

I met my husband Kyle at church in 2010 and got married in 2011. We have four kids: Drew (2013), Mary (2015), Evan (2016), and Ruthie (2018). Kyle works at his family business, a local technology company, and before being a stay-at-home mom I worked as a non-profit events manager. We both attended undergrad at the University of Washington, and I attended graduate school at Gonzaga University. We share a mutual love for Jesus, our friends and family, and Trader Joe's!

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:23 -24). We are all sinners in need of God's grace. His grace abounds in our lives, and I hope this blog is evidence of that.
